A HESO'LDTIO'N O'F APPRECIATIO'N FO'R ~:HE SERVICE EXTENDED BY JOHN KILRDY
\iHEREAS, JOHN KILROY has devolted his tiIrle, experience, knowledge, and
dedication to the position of serving in the elected office of Village
rrrustee of the Village of Mount Prospect frOITl May 2, 1967 to May 4, 1971;
and
irJHEHEAS, JOm..J KILROY served unselfishly and dilifTently on various Committees
composed of the elected VillaFe Trustees, and also served previously as a
member of the Board of Fire and Police Comrnissioners from May, 1966 to
May, 1967; and
itJHEPEAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has been greatly enhanced by the
knowledge and concentrated efforts expended by JOHN KIL.'i.OY in the per-
formance of his position as Villap:e Trustee, especially with respect to
accomplishments too many to enumerate herein; 8.nd
WHEREAS, the residents of the Villaf"e of I'bunt Prospect are deeply indebted
to JOHN KILROY for his distinpuished service to our Villap:e; and
hlHEREJ\S, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of rljount Prospect
desire to express to JOHN KILI-~DY on behalf of all of the residents of the
Village their gratitucie to him for his dedicated and distinguished service
to the Villace;
NOH" rI'HEREFORE, BE IT RJc-:50LVED BY THE PHESIDB)\l'l' j\ND BOAPJ) OF TRUSTEES OF
'l'HE VILLAGE OF I10UNT PROSPECT $ COOK COUNTY" ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That by this Resolutiooon the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of roo1ount Prospect express to Jo.f-IN KILROY their deep grat-
itude for his dedicated, faithful, and constructive service as an elected
official, Village Trustee, of the Villap:e of r\~ount Prospect.
SECTION Tl,vO: That a copy of this Hesolution be spread upon the minutes
of the Board of Trustees of the Village of r10unt P-.cospect as a perpetual
memento and that a certified copy of same be suitably engraved upon
parchment and delivered to JOEi'-J KILHOY.
BE I'l' FU1iTHER P,ESOLVicD, that this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the m.anner provided
by law.
