Home My WebLink AboutRes 02-72 01/18/1972 RESOLUTION NUMBER 2-72 A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES FROM THE FOREST RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT WHEREAS, on December 8, 1971, the Honorable Harry G.Comerford entered an Agreed Order in Case No. 71 CO 526 IN THE MATTER OF A PETITION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS: and WHEREAS, paragraph 7. of said Agreed Order states: "The Fire Department of the (Forest River Fire Protection) District shall be discontinued upon the entry of this Order. The Village (of Mount Prospect) wi 11 assume all of the bonded indebted- ness and other debts of the District and will take title to all property, assets, and equipment of the District, and will hold such property, assets, and equipment for the same purposes and uses and sub- ject to the same conditions as prior to the enter- ing of this Order. ...11 [Parenthesis added]; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the items listed on the inventory pre- pared on or about November 1, 1971, by the Trustees of the Forest River Fire Protection District, which inventory is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A, are hereby acknowledged as having been received by and taken into the possession of the Village of Mount Prospect --- all pursuant to the terms of an Order entered in the Circuit Court of Cook County on December 8, 1971, under Case No. 71 CO 526. SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
