1. 2 reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP OFTHE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1040 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY
This ordinance rezones the subject property from B1 Business Office to R2
Attached Single Family Residence to allow a 17 unit townhome development.
The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended by a vote of 5-2
super majority
to deny the request; adoption of the ordinance requires a
vote for approval.

2. 2 reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (Exhibit B)
AND VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1040 W. NORTHWEST
HIGHWAY
This ordinance grants a Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Unit
Development, and a Variation for lot coverage to allow the construction of a
17 unit townhome development. The Planning and Zoning Commission
has recommended by a vote of 5-2 to deny the request; adoption of the
super majority
ordinance requires a vote for approval.

B. 2 reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance implements components of the Village’s new “Residential Intersection
Traffic Control” program and the “Residential Speed Limit” program for Zone 12.

1 reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 3831 GRANTING A
SPECIAL USE OF PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS LAKE CENTER PLAZA
IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance amends ordinance No. 3831 granting a Special Use for Lake Center
Plaza. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended by a vote of 7-0 to
approve the request.

B. 1 reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 (BOARDS AND (Exhibit D)
COMMISSIONS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance amends Article XVI, “Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Board”,
Section 16.106.B. entitled “Use of Funds” of Chapter 5 of the Village Code.

C. 1reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 21 AND 23, AND (Exhibit E)
APPENDIX A – DIVISION II OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT,
ILLINOIS
This ordinance amends Article XVIII, “Residential Landlord Tenant Regulations”
of Chapter 23 (Offenses and Miscellaneous Regulations) to add a new offense
“Chronic Public Nuisance Property and Section 21.607, entitled “Enforcement
Fees” of Appendix II, “Fees, Rates and Taxes”, of the Village Code.

D. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT (Exhibit F)
BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND THE ILLINOIS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (IDOT)
This resolution authorizes the Village of Mount Prospect to perform work on State
highways within the Village which are under the jurisdiction and control of IDOT.
