A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ITHE PROPOSAL FOR EXPANSION
AND MODERNIZATION OF HOLY FAMILY HOSPITAL
This Resolution expresses the support of the
Village for the application before the State for
expansion of the existing facility.

A RESOLUTION OF PARTICIPATION IN THE HOME TOWN
AWARDS PROGRAM
This Resolution provides for the Village to
participate in a program conducted by the State
for municipalities having displayed sound financial
planning.

lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF
THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance deletes one (1) Class "R" liquor
license issued -to jojos Restaurant on Rand Road,
inasmuch as the restaurant is now closed and
in line with previous action of the Village Board
transfers all those liquor license holders to the
appropriate classification.

Authorization:,to"return $500.00 to --the homeowners
in the Maplecres't Subdivision. This action was
recommended in 1977, before the Homeowners
Association was established.

lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE VI
OF CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
In line with the action of the Board March 16th,
this Ordinance provides for specified parking on
Helena Ave.

C. The following recommendations were made by the
Safety Commission:
1. No parking on east side of Weller Lane.
Safety Commission recommends denial of
request.
2. STOP sign at Yates Lane and Thayer Street.
The Safety Commission recommends denial.
3. On a request to designate Wille Street as
a one-way street, the Safety Commission
recommended denial.
4. A request was submi

traffic flow in the parking lot of the
shopping center at Central and Main. The

ENTITLED "ZONING" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance reflects the action of the Village
Board to amend those areas of the Zoning Ordinance
regulating amusement devices and game rooms.

(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance provides for increased penalty
provisions for various violations.

(BUILDING CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
In line with the preceeding ordinance, this provides
for the increased penalty provision for violating
the fire lane provision.

ENTITLED "VEHICLE LICENSES" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance increases the fine for not
purchasing a Village vehicle sticker.

ENTITLED "TAXICAB AND TAXICAB DRIVER'S LICENSES"
OF CHAPTER 11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance changes the expiration date for
taxicab driver's licenses issued by the Village
from December to April, to provide for a uniform
expiration date for all business licenses.

This ordinance increased the specified fines for
various violations.

FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TO THE EXECUTIVE
COMMITTEE OF THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN MUNICIPAL JOINT
ACTION WATER AGENCY
This Resolution provides for Jay Hedges, the new
Assistant Village Manager, to be the alternate
representative to this Agency.
