CENTER.
This Ordinance provides for the variations requested
in accordnance with the recommendation of the
Zoning Board of Appeals and Village Board.

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II
ENTITLED "FENCES" OF CHAPTER 21 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
In accordance with the recommendations of the
Zoning Board of Appeals and Village Board, this
Ordinance will permit 6 foot fences along the rear
lot lines of property that abut an arterial roadway.

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING +CHAPTER. 14
ENTITLED "ZONING ORDINANCE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
REGARDING AUTHORITY OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
TO DECIDE FENCE VARIATIONS
This Ordinance provides for the Zoning Board of
Appeals to have jurisdiction with respect to
variation, requests within ,specified limits.

This matter was continued from the January 5, 1982
Board meeting. The subject of this case is to
provide ,specific regulations for residential care
homes. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommends
denial of this proposed text amendment.

tat reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14
ENTITLED "ZONING ORDINANCE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE
REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AUTOMOBILE SERVICE
STATIONS AS -A SPECIAL USE IN B-3 BUSINESS, RETAIL
AND SERVICE, DISTRICT
This Ordinance provides for service stations as
a special use in B-3 Districts, as recommended
by the Zoning Board of Appeals and Village Board.

A. Ist reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE V
ENTITLED "DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED, TRANSPORTING
ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR AND RECKLESS DRIVING" OF
CHAPTER 18 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
In accordance with recently adopted legislation,
this Ordinance amends our local Code to include
these regulations in our Village Code.
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18.1324
ENTITLED "VEHICLES OF PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PERSONS"
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance provides additional authority for
the Police Department to enforce handicapped parking
regulations.
X. MANAGER'S REPORT
A. Bid Result:
1. Extracation equipment for Fire Department
B. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
This Resolution is required by IDOT relative to
the master agreement for funding maintenance of
traffic signals ,cine State controlled roadways.
C. Well 17, Elmhurst Road at Camp McDonald Road.
Consider a motion to authorize an expenditure of
an amount not to exceed $60,000 for repairs.
D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance authorizes the sale of several
pieces of camera and video equipment with -in the
Police Department.

A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE V
ENTITLED "OTHER REGULATIONS" OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance --sets forth the procedures for the
sale of Village owned property.
B. McCabe Plat of Resubdivision
This property is commonly known as the Scotland
Yard F,estaurant, on Rand Road. This plat will
provide fo,r that property to become one lot of
record, as required by our Village Code.
C. Consider a motion to call an Executive Session
to review the compensation for the Village Manager.
