This Ordinance provides for the various amendments
to the Traffic Code as recommended by the Safety
Commission and Village Board.

Ist reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A DRIVEWAY
VARIATION FOR PROPERTY AT 910 WILLOW LANE
As recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals and
Village Board, this Ordinance grants a variation
to permit a circular driveway at the subject
1 o c a t i o n .

Ist reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIFIED
PARKING VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY AT BRIARWOOD
SHOPPING CENTER
This Ordinance provides for the variations granted
from parking requirements.
D. Ist reading of AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING AUTOMOBILE
RENTING USE TAX ACT
Recently adopted State Legislation provides for
local municipalities to collect a tax for the
use of rented automobiles,, this Ordinance will
serve as notice to the State of Illinois that
Mount Prospect does intend to exercise its option
to collect such a tax.

A request for a variation from the Sign
Ordinance relative to size of the sign.
The Zone Board of Appeals recommends,
approval- of the request.
2. ZBA 27- t,201 E. Kensington Road
A request for B-4 zoning from B-3. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommends denial
of request.
3. ZBA 37-V-81, f National Bank, Rand Road
Request for variation from Sign Ordinance
to permit a sign on the side, of the
building. Zoning Board of Appeals,
recommends approval..
4. ZH 29-A-81, Text Amendment
Proposed amendment would permit six foot
fences along rear lot line when s,uc.h lot
line abuts an arterial road. Zoning
Board, of Appeals recomm,en,.is approval.
5. ZHA 30-A-81, Text Amendment
To provide for service stations as a
special use in a B-3 District. Zoning
Board of Appeals recommends approval.
6. ZHA 31-A-81, Text Amendment
T'o provide for residential care homes.
Zoning Board of Appeals recommends denial.

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ANNUAL 1,000 HOUR
STANDARD FOR ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT
FUND PARTICIPATION
This Resolution increases the number of hours
required to participate in IF from 600 to 1,,000.

This Resolution is passed annually to permit work
within rights - of -way.

This is an annual appropriation of funds for salt,
traffic signal maintenance, etc. totalling $150,000.

A RESOLUTION OF INVOLVEMENT OF MINORITY BUSINESS
ENTERPRISE AND WOMEN'S BUSINESS ENTERPRISE IN THE
CONSTRUCTION GRANTS PROGRAM
This is a requirement of the EPA in conjunction
with Step #2 of the Sewer Rehabilitation Design
Aid Application Program.
