MAYOR'S REPORT A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 ENTITLED 'ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS' OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This ordinance amends Section 13-116 entitled "Consumption on Premises" of Chapter 13 of the Village Code. (Exhibit A) B. Appointments VIII. Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect Development Group 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1040 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY 2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1040 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY (At the request of the petitioner and with approval from the Village Board this case has been deferred until the February 6, 2007 Village Board meeting.) B. PZ-28-06, 103 S. Maple Street, Historical Society 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND DEVELOPMENT CODE EXCEPTION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 103 SOUTH MAPLE STREET This ordinance grants a six (6) month extension of Conditional Use permit granted by Ordinance 5404 and a Development Code exception for storm water detention. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 7-0. 2. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND THE MOUNT PROSPECT HISTORICAL SOCIETY, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE 8 OF THE VILLAGE CODE FOR REAL ESTATE TRANSFER TAX This ordinance amends the Village Code to limit the rebate for the real estate transfer tax to owner/occupied properties only. D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 (PUBLIC UTILITIES, PAVEMENT & TREE REGULATIONS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance prohibits the use of groundwater as a potable water supply by the installation or use of potable water supply wells or by any other method. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NORTHWEST CENTRAL 9-1-1 SYSTEM (NWC911) (Exhibit F) TO APPLY FOR A GRANT UNDER THE INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE FEE LITIGATION CY PRES COMMITTEE'S GENERAL AUTHORITY TO MAKE SUCH GRANTS This resolution authorizes the Northwest Central 9-1-1 System to apply for a grant on behalf of the Village of Mount Prospect with the Cy Pres Committee for a grant for the Northwest Central 9-1-1 System Mobile Communication System Project. XII. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT * A. Request Village Board approval to waive the bid process and accept the proposal for tree trimming contract with R.W. Hendricksen, Co. in an amount not to exceed $60,000. B. Request Village Board approval to purchase of eleven (11) Ford Interceptor patrol squad cars in an amount not to exceed $294,000 and one (1) Chevrolet Impala detective car in an amount not to exceed $18,200 under the pricing of the State of Illinois contract for police vehicles. XIII. OTHER BUSINESS XIV. CLOSED SESSION LAND ACQUISITION 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (5) - The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired. PERSONNEL 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) - The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity.
