RESOLUTION NO. 2-76
ANNUAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS FROM
THE ILLINOIS DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS
, HEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, located in the County of Cook., State of
llinois desires to undertake, in the year 1976, the location, construction, opera-
on, ~d maintenance of driveways and street returns, w atermains, sanitary
d storm sewers, street lights, traffic signals, sidewalks, landscaping, etc.,
State highways, within said Village of Mount Prospect, which by law and/or
reement come under the jurisdiction and control of the Department of Public
orks and Buildings of the State of Illinois hereinafter referred to as Depart-
ent; and
EREAS, an individual working permit must be obtained from the Department
ior to any of the aforesaid installations being constructed either by the Village
Mount Prospect or by a private person or firm under contract and supervision

OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE IVIAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
F THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
CTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect hereby pledges its good faith
d guarantees that all work shall be performed in accordance with the conditions .

the permit to be granted by the Department, and to hold the State of Illinois, De-
rtment of Public Works and Buildings harmless on account of any damages that
ay occur to persons or property during the prosecution of such work, and assume
liability for damages to persons or property due to accidents or otherwise by rea-
s n of the work which is to be performed under the provision of said permit.
CTION TWO: That all-authorized officials of the Village of Mount Prospect are
reby instructed and authorized to sign said working permit on behalf of the
llage of Mount Prospect.
S CTION THREE: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to forward a certified
c py of tM.s ~esolution to the Office of the District Engineer, Division of Highways,
S ate of Ill1nOls .
S CTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
it passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
