RESOLUTION NO. 16 - 75
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING 1HE VOTES CAST AT THE REGULAR MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD APRIL 15, 1975, AND DECLARING TIIERESULTS THEREOF
WHEREAS, a regular rmmicipal election was held in and for the Village of Moun
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 15, 1975, for the purpose
of electing five Village Trustees (three for 4 year terms and two for 2 year
terms), and three Library Directors (for 6 year terms); and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have canvassed the votes cast at the said election and are ready to report
herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF 1HE VIL
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COONTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That said regular rmmicipa1 election of April 15, 1975,
held as provided by law.
SECTION TWO: That 47,948 votes were cast in the following manner:

SECTION TIIREE: (a) That inasmuch as Richard N. Hendricks, Michael H. Minton
and Theodore J. Wattenberg received the greatest number of votes, they and
each of them are hereby declared elected to the Office of Trustee of the
Village of Mount Prospect for a four year term, commencing May 1, 1975, or as
soon thereafter as they shall have qualified.
(b) That inasmuch as Leo Flores and Edward B. Rhea, Jr.
received the greatest number of votes, they and each of them are hereby decla ed
elected to the Office of Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect for a two y ar
term, corrmencing May 1, 1975, or as soon thereafter as they shall have
qualified.

(c) That inasmuch as Helen Marie Viger, John W. Parsons and
Samuel A. Hess received the greatest m.nnber of votes, they and -each of them
are hereby declared elected to the Office of Library Director of the Village f
Mount Prospect for six year terms, commencing May 1, 1975, or as soon thereaf el
as they shall have qualified.
Cd) That all the foregoing officials so elected shall
qualify in the manner and time prescribed by law.
SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
