1 reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMENDING ORDINANCE 3797 GRANTING
A CONDITIONAL USE AND VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
888 EAST NORTHWEST HIGHWAY
This ordinance amends the language from Special Use to Conditional Use and grants
a variation to allow an animal hospital to provide four-off street parking spaces for the
subject property. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended denial
by a vote of 6-0, with one abstention; the ordinance requires a super majority vote for
approval.
(At the request of the petitioner this ordinance has been deferred until the
September 5, 2006 Village Board meeting.)
B. A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF EMPORIUM LUGGAGE, 2200 S. BUSSE ROAD,
MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, MAKING APPLICATION FOR COOK COUNTY

A. Accept proposal for Police/Fire/Public Works space needs study by Sente-Rubel,
Bosman-Lee in an amount not to exceed $68,400.00

contract in an amount not to exceed $12,580.36 per year (two year contract)

C. Request authorization to accept bid for Creek Cleaning/ Tree Work project in
an amount not to exceed $29,200.00.
