ORDINANCE NO. 2083
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 26s OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Corrrnission of the Village of Mount Prospect, here-
tofore on March 29, 1968 did conduct a public hearing under Case No. 68-9P on
a request to rezone property located at the southwest corner of Golf Road at
Route 83 to B-2, which property is hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid pUblic hearing was made in the
form and rmnner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Corrmission has determined on April 3, 1968 that
the zoning change in that area would be in no way detrimental to the Village
of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did meet on fv'lay 17, 1968 and said Conuni ttee did re-
view Case No. 68-9P and have determined that the recorrrnendation of the Plan
Cormnission would be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; an
WBEREAS, the Judiciary Committee has recorrnnended the rezoning con-
ditioned upon the resubdividing of the hereinafter described properties into
one lot; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission and Judiciary
Cormnittee reconnnendations on Case No. 68-9P regarding the subject property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OFMOillJ'ill' PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Map 26s of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying
from R-l, B-3 and B-1 to B-2 (Business-office District) the following pro-
perty:
All of Lots 3 through 6, both inclusive and taken as a tract,
excepting therefrom the North 160.0 feet of the East 160.0 feet
as measured on the East and North lines thereof, all in Juhnke's
Subdivision of that part of the East 854.70 feet of the North-
east 1/4 of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, lying South of the center line of Golf
Road, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner prescribed by
law.
