ORDINANCE NO. 2084
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT. ILLINOISi.:'
WHEREAS. the Plan Corrmission of the Village of Mount Prospect, pur-
suant to Chapter 24, Section 11-12-7 of the Illinois Revised Statutes has
held a public hearing on May 15, 1968, under case No. 68-8P, for the purpose
of submitting changes to the Comprehensive Land Use Map which was adopted by
the President and Board of Trustees on June 20, 1967; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Village of Mount Prospect
has subsequently m et on June 13, 1968, and considered the recommendations of
the Plan Commission under Case No. 68-8P; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Conrnittee has recomnended to the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to allow the proposed changes and
have determined that the same is for the best interests of the Village of
Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of 'lrustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the
same is for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTIONJ1: That the official Comprehensive Land Use rv'f.ap be amended
to coincide with the Comprehensive Village Plan text, adopted on March 20,
1968, as Ordinance No. 2062. by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION 2: That said amendment shall concern itself in the follow-
ing described tracts of land:
(a) A triangular area bounded by Northwest Highway i Mount Prospect
Road, and Lincoln Street, hereinafter referred to as area "A".
(b) A triangular area bounded by Northwest Highway, Milburn Street
and a line 160 feet East of the East line of Edward Street, here-
inafter referred to as area "B".
(c) A triangular area bounded by Northwest Highway, Evergreen Street I
and the alley between Owen and William Streets, hereinafter referred
to as area "C".
SECTION 3: That the Map reflect that the multi-family use in the
above described. areas be deleted in the following manner;
(a) That areas "A" and "B" shall reflect single family use, except
that the parcels lying between Northwest Highway and the first
alley to the North of and parrallel to the said Northwest Highway
shall be designated as having a corrmercial land use.
(b) That area "c" shall reflect single family use. except that the
following described parcels in area "c" shall be designated as
having a commercial land use:

(1) Lots 24 through 31 inclusive in the Mount Prospect Sub-
division of the West 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 12,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.
(2) That tract bounded by Elm Street, Northwest Highway,
School Street and a line 120 feet Northeast of and parrallel
to the said Northwest Highway.
(3) The subdivision of Block 10 of Busse and Wille t s Resub-
division in Mount Prospect, namely all of that part of the
East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian lying North of
the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad Right-of-way.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
