AN o.RDINANCE AMENDING MAP l6N o.F THE VILLAGE o.F MOtJNr PRo.SPECT

WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore
on July 19, 1968 conducted a Public Hearing under Case No. 68-34P on a request
for a zoning classification change from RX (Single Family Residence District)
to 8-4 (Business-Retail and Service) of certain property hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the manner
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Corrrnission has determined that the said zoning change
is in accord with the overall plan in that area and would in no way be
detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect, by a
vote of 6-0, has recorrmended that the zoning change be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect did meet on August 13, 1968 and have reviewed Case No.
68-34P and have determined that said recommendation of the Plan Commission
would be in the best interests of the Village of !l1ount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount
Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission ~ s recorrmendat-
ion on Case No.68-34p regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT o.RDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD o.F TRUSTEES
o.F THE VILLAGE o.F MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK Co.UNTY, ILLINo.IS:
SECTION 1: That Map 16N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect, as a:rrended.. be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from
RX (Single Family Residence District) to 8-4 (Business-Retail and Service
District) the follOWing described property:
That part lying North of Rand Road of the West 70 feet of the East
140 feet of that part of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of
Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
MEridian, lying North of the North line of Rand Road, (except the North
500 feet thereof) in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTIo.N 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force from and after its
passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
