ORDINANCE NO. 2095
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING l\'IAP 26s OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Conunission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore
on June 21, 1968 did conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to proper legal notice
under Case No. 68-26p on a request by the Villag;e Administration to rezone
certain property hereinafter described fran R-l (Single Pamily Residence)
to B-2 (Business Office); and
HHEHEAS, the Plan Conunission has determined that the zoning change in
that area would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect
and has recommended that the zoning change be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Comnittee of the Board of Trustees of the
Villag;e of Mount Prospect did meet on August 13, 1968 and reviewed Case No.
68-26p and have determined that said recommendation of the Plan Commission
would be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount
Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Conunission recommendation
in Case No. 68-26p regarding the subj ect property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OP TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF JVDUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: 'Ihat Map 26s of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying
from R-l (Single Family Residence District) to B-2 (Business-Office District)
the following described property:
All of lots 1, 2 and 8 in Juhnke's Resubdivision of that part
of the East 854.70 feet of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14,
Township 41 North, Range 11, lying South of the center of
Golf Road in Cook County, Illinois comonly known as 401-405-
501 West Golf Road in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
SECTION 2: 'Ihis Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
