AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP lIS OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONUJG ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Cormnission of the Village of r.1otmt Prospect heretofore
on September 20, 1968 conducted a public hearing under Case No. 68-42P on a
request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single-family Residence
District) to R-l (Single-family Residence District) of certain property herein-
after described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Cormnission has determined that the zoning change is
in accord with the Comprehensive Plan in that area and would in no way be
detrimental to the Village of M:ount Prospect; and
WHF..RF.AS, the Plan Cormnission of the Village of Mount Prospect has
recorrnnended that the zoning change be granted; and '
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Corrnni ttee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did meet on October 24, 1968 and reviewed Case
No. 68-42P, and have recorrnnended that the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect concur with the Plan Cormnission of the Village of
Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount
Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Cormnis s ion 's recorrnnend-
at ion on Case No. 68-112P regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNr PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That map lIS of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclas:;ifying
from R-X (Single-family Residence District) to R-l (Bingle-family Residence
District) the following described property: .
The South 338.7 feet of the North 378.7 feet of the East
300 feet of the North 3/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4
of the S.W. 1/4 of Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by la't<T.
