AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 20S OF THE VIlLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Conmission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on October 21, 1966 and on December 16, 1966 did conduct Public
Hearings under Case No. 66-22P on a request for a zoning classification
change from R-l (Single Family District) to P-l (Paved off Street Parking)
of certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of aforesaid Public Hearings were made in the
manner provided by law; and
WEEREAS, the Plan Conmission has detennined that the zoning change
in that area would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has
recorrmended that the zoning change be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Conmittee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did meet on November 10, 1967 and reviewed Case
No. 66-22P, and have determined that said reconmendation of the Plan Corrmission
would be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have detennined that the best interests of the Village of
ount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission
recommendation on Case 66-22P regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
STEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 208 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
f Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended, by recla~sify-
ing from R-l (Single Family District) to P-l (Paved Off Street Parking) the
following described property:
Lot 65 - In Maplewood Heights being a subdivision of the
East 15.00 chaines of that part lying North of Railroad
of S.E. Quarter 1/4 of Section twelve (12) (except the
Southerly 66 ft. for raod) also of blk. 26 in Busse's
Eastern addition to Mt. Prospect, in East 1/2 of Section
twelve (12) all in Twp. 41 North Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian.
The comnonly known location of this property is: Adj acent
to a parking lot near the Northwest Hwy. on Mt. Prospect
Road.
SECTION TWO: That said improvements on the above described lot
hall be in accord with the engineering plans submitted and made part of
he record of Case No. 66-22P.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
d after its passage, approval and publication in the er provided by law.
