STREET ~ W1EREAS, a written petition under oath sig,ned by the owner of record of land hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, all the electors residing wi thin the said property to be annexed have affixed their sig,nature indicating their consent; and WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village that said land and territory be armexed thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SEGrION 1: That all land and territory legally described as follows, to-wit: v That part of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at a poirit 12 chains South of the Northeast comer of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 14; thence West 11.5 chains; thence South 2.35 chains;; thence West 8.50 chains to the West line of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence South 5.65 chains to the Southwest comer of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence East 20 chains to the Southeast comer of said Section 14; thence North 8.0 chains to the place of begiming, (except therefrom that part of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, Townsnip 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest comer of said Southeast qu.arter of the Southeast quarter; thence North along the West line of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter, 385.20 feet; thence East 5P2.28 feet to a point 385.38 feet North of. the South line of said Section 14; thence South 385".38 feet to a point in the South line of said Section 14, which is 562.0 feet East of the Southwest comer of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence West along the South line 'Of said Section 14, to place of beginning, and also except therefrom the East 210 feet thereof) in Cook County, Illinois. An accurate nap of which territory is attached thereto and made a part thereof by this reference be and the same is hereby armexed to tne Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois. SECTION 2: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect s hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook ounty, Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an ccurate map of the territory annexed.
