A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS
FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BUSSE AND GOLF ROADS
The petitioner is requesting modifications from
the Development Code to permit more than one curb -
cut driveway. The Plan Commission recommended
approval of the request, as amended, by a
vote of 5-0. (Exhibit A)
B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS
FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
201 SOUTH BUSSE ROAD
The Petitioner is requesting a modification from
the requirements of the Development Code to delete
the requirement for sidewalks on the north side of
this proposed subdivision. The Plan Commission
recommended approval of this request by a vote of
5-0. (Exhibit B)

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
IN A R -X SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT IN THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT I
This Ordinance rezones the subject property from
R -X to R-1, Single Family Residence District. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this
request by a vote of 5-0.

OF A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN
AS 3 SOUTH EMERSON STREET
This Ordinance authorizes the purchase of the
subject property as a part of the Tax Increment
Financing District No. 1 project.

A. ZBA 11-Z-87 & ZBA 12-V-871 Busse Flowers
The petitioner is requesting rezoning from B-3 and
R-2 to entirely B-3 for a new parcel approximately
25,000 sq. ft. for the new Busse Flowers building.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approving
this request by a vote of 6-0.
Be, ZBA 8 -SU -87, Opus Corporation
The Petitioner is requesting a Special Use in the
Nature of a Planned Unit Development in order to
construct a 4 story building. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended approval of this request by a
vote of 4-1.
C ZBA 9-V-87, 610 Cedar Lane
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to permit
a rear yard of 1614," rather than the required 25
feet in order to allow a wooden deck. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting this request
by a vote of 6-0.
D. ZBA 10-V-87, 113 S. I -Oka
The Petitioners are requesting a variation from the
Floor Area Ratio maximum of .35 to permit an
addition to a 2 story single family home resulting
in an PAR of .402. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommendation was a vote of 3-3,�therefore
denying the request.
E. Request of Shell Oil Company, located at Algonquin
and Elmhurst Roads, for modification from the
Development Code to permit the required detention
facility to be nearer to a building than the
normally required 75 foot separation. The Plan
Commission recommended approval of this request be
a vote of 7-0.
F. Shell Oil Company Plat of Subdivision
This Plat creates one lot of record for the Shell
Oil Station at Algonquin and Elmhurst Roads, The
Plan Commission recommended approval of the
subdivision • a vote of 7-0.
G. A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL

This Resolution authorizes execution of an Agreement

G. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND
DONOHUEj HETHERINGTON & ASSOCIATES, INC.
This Resolution authorizes Donohue, Hetherington &
Associates, Inc. to prepare the final engineering
plans and undertake other related matters relative
to the construction of the new Public Works
Facility. (Exhibit 0)
H. A RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF SEVEN
ACRES OF LAND AT MELAS PARK FROM THE METROPOLITAN
SANITARY DISTRICT OF GREATER CHICAGO FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A MOUNT PROSPECT PUBLIC
WORKS FACILITY,
This Resolution Authorizes the administration to
proceed with the purchase of the Melas Park site
for the new Public Works Facility. (Exhibit P)

Zoning Board of Appeals to rezone the Melas Park
property for the new Public Works Facility.
