I -Oka 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 113 SOUTH I -ORA This Ordinance grants a variation from the Floor Area Ratio maximum of .35 to permit an addition to a 2 story single family home resulting in an FAR of .402. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommendation was a vote of 3--3, therefore denying the request. C. Brentwood subdivision (Simonsen's Nursery) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN _As THE BRENTWOOD SUBDIVISION This Ordinance grants a modification from the Development Code to permit the required detention facility to nearer than the required 75 feet. The Plan commission recommended approval by a vote of 7-10 • (Exhibit B) (Exhibit C) i D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE RENUMBERING CERTAIN LOTS AND BUILDINGS IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance changes specified addresses in the recently annexed area on south Busse Road, into conformity with the Village's numbering system. NEW BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMENDING CHAPTER 16 ENTITLED "DEVELOPMENT CODE" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends specified sections of Chapter 16 relative to posting notice for proposed vacations of public rights--of-way and subdivisions. The Plan Commission recommended approval of this amendment by a Grote of 7-1. B. ZBA, 14-V-87, 923 south We Go Trail The petitioner is requesting a variation to permit a fence 6 feet high extending into the front yard of this corner lot. This Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approval of this request by a vote of 5-0. ( Exhibit F) (Exhibit G) C. ZBA-15-V-87,, 314 Prospect Manor The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a 4 foot setback between a principal building and an accessory building rather than the required 10 feet. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approving this request by a vote of 5-0. D. ZBA 17-V-87, 506 Marina The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a rear yard of 14 feet instead of the required 25 feet. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approving this request by a vote of 5-0. E. shinjung Subdivision, 1900 W. Golf Road The Petitioners is requesting subdividing this lot into 2 lots for single family homes. The Plan Commission recommends approval of this Subdivision by a vote of 5-01. %1 F. A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS This Resolution, as required by IDOT, appropriates $648,000 for various general maintenance accounts. (Exhibit H) G. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING REPRESENTATIVES TO THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN JOINT ACTION WATER AGENCY FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT In accordance with the By -Laws of JAWAI this Ordinance re -appoints Mayor Krause and Trustee Farley to the Agency for a 2 year period. (Exhibit J) XIII, VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. ZBA 20-V-87, Public Works Facility This Petitioner, Village of Mount Prospect, is requesting variations from the rear and side yard regulations and to reduce the number of required parking spaces.
