I -Oka 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 113 SOUTH I-OKA Tabled motion: "Trustee Farley,, seconded by Trustee Wattenberg, moved to table the compromise of reducing the requested variation by 200 sq. ft. until May 19th in order to make the Petitioner aware of the suggested compromise." This Ordinance, tabled from the May 5th meeting of the Village, would grant a variation from the Floor Area Ratio maximum of .35 to permit an addition to a 2 story single family home resulting in an FAR of .402. Brentwood Subdivision (Simonsen's Nursery) 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE BRENTWOOD SUBDIVISION This Ordinance grants a modification from the Development Code to permit the required detention facility to nearer than the required 75 feet. The Plan Commission recommended approval by a vote of 7-1. (Exhibit B) C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 1987A (CAPITAL APPRECIATION CITIZEN BONDS) OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS (Exhibit C) D. ZBA 14-V-87, 923 South We Go Trail 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 923 WE GO TRAIL This Ordinance grants a variation to permit a f ' ence 6 feet high extending into the front yard of this corner lot. This Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approval of this request by a vote of 5-09 (Exhibit D) E. ZBA 15 -V -87t 314 Prospect Manor 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 314 PROSPECT MANOR This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a 4 foot setback between a principal building and an accessory building rather than the required 10 feet. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approving this request by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit E) F. ZBA 17-V-87, 506 Marina 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 506 MARINA This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a rear yard of 14 feet instead of the required 25 feet. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended approving this request by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit F) G. ZBA 20-V-87, Public works Facility 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE NORTH SIDE OF CENTRAL ROAD AND BUSSE ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit G) H. Melas Park Plat of Subdivision This Plat places the 7 acre parcel proposed for the location of the new Public Works Facility into one lot of record. The Plan Commission recommended approval of the plat by a vote of 7-00 I• Kathcon Plat of Subdivision This plat divides one large parcel into 9 single family home lots for property located on the east side of Busse Road immediately north of Crumley Basin. The Plan Commission recommended approval of this final plat by a vote of 7-0* IX, NEW BUSINESS A. ZBA 18-Z-87 and ZBA 19 -SU -87 The Petitioner in this case was requested re -zoning from R -X to R-3 in order to build 42 townhomes as a Planned Unit Development. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended denial of the requests by unanimous votes. C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $5,150,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS This Ordinance authorizes the sale of bonds for the balance of the funds necessary for the new Public Works Facility and Capital Equipment (Exhibit H) A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CAMP NC DONALD CREEK FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT (Lake Arlington) • J) E.
