MAYOR'S REPORT A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance deletes the Class "S" liquor license issued to Elias, 253 E. Rand Road, which has gone out of business and a Class "T" liquor license issued to Striking Lane Cocktail Lounge, 1050 South Elmhurst Road, which has also gene out of business. B, Appointments C. Announcements VIII, OLD BUSINESS A. ZBA 20-V-87, Public Works Facility 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE NORTH SIDE OF CENTRAL ROAD AND BUSSE ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance grants side yard variations for the new Public Works Facility Property. (Exhibit B) B. Melas Park Plat of Subdivision This Plat places the 7 acre parcelproposedfor the location of the new Public Works Facility into one lot of record. The Plan Commission recommended approval of the plat by a vote of 7-0& 1 C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $5,150F000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS This Ordinance authorizes the sale of bonds for the balance of the funds necessary for the new Public Works Facility and Capital Equipment (Exhibit C) D. ZBA 18-Z-87, Mitroff Development at Clearwater Park 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY This Ordinance rezones the subject property from R -X to R-1 in order to build 25 single family homes. (Exhibit D) E, 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE This Ordinance grants variations from the Development Code for 4 lots located on a cul de sac. (Exhibit E) IX, NEW BUSINESS ♦ ♦ RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CLOSURE OF A STATE ROADWAY IN ORDER TO CONDUCT A PARADE This,Resolution requests the Illinois Department • Transportation • permit ' a portion of Central Road • be closed on July 4th for the parade, • F) B. Rouse/Randhurst Corporation has requested a variation from the Sign Code in order to locate a "Cash Station" sign on the face of their new building. The Sign Board recommended approval of this request by a unanimous vote.. C. ZBA 32-V-87, The Hoffman Group, Brentwood Subdivision (formerly Simonsen's Nursery) The Petitioner is requesting variations for several lots in the subdivision to allow 10 foot rear yards instead of 25 feet and to allow a Floor Area Ratio of .365 'instead of .35. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended denying these requests by a unanimous vote. D. Chapman Plat of Subdivision The subject property is located at the southeast corner of Elmhurst Road and Lonnquist Boulevard The Plan Commission recommended approving this Plat by a vote of 6-0.
