A. Request for Class S liquor license from the new owners
of La Hacienda (formerly Chessie's) located at the
northeast corner of Elmhurst and Rand Roads.
B. Request from the new owners of Sizzlers Steak House,
110 East Rand Road, to continue doing business
under the existing Class W liquor license.

A. PLAZA UNITED, Busse Road between Algonquin Road
and Dempster Street
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS
FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE (CHAPTER 16) FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS PLAZA UNITED.
This Ordinance grants a modification from the
Development Code to permit a slope ratio of 4:1
for the on-site retention area, The Plan
Commission recommended approving this request by a
vote of 6-1. (Exhibit A)
B. Francis Cadillac
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A MODIFICATION
FROM CHAPTER 16 (DEVELOPMENT CODE) FOR PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS FRANCIS CADILLAC
This Ordinance permits the petitioner to have an
asphalt parkway. The Plan Commission recommended
denial of this request by a vote of 5-3. (Exhibit B)

BUSINESS
A.
ZBA 69-Z-87, ZBA 70-V-87, 747 S. Meier Road
1. The Petitioner is requesting rezoning from R -X to
R-1 to create a 4 lot subdivision on a cul de sac.
Also requested is a variation to permit a 21.481
front lot width on the cul de sac and a 6.5' rear
property line for this pie shaped lot. By a,
unanimous vote, the Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended approving the rezoning but denying the
variations.
2. Request for modifications from Chapter 16
(Development Code) to permit a non -radial lot line
to the cul de sac center and lot depth of less
than 120 feet. The Plan Commission recommended
granting these requests.
3. Meier Meadows Plat of Subdivision
The Plan Commission recommended approving this
Subdivision by a vote of 6-1.

ZBA 72-V-87, 215 Weller Lane
The Pe-titioner is requesting a variation to allow a
three car garage 761 square foot garage, and a -
driveway width of 32-1/2 feet. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of
6-Oo

ZBA 73-V-87, 607 N. Eastman
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a
detached garage to be located 3-1/2 feet from a
principal structure instead of the required 10 feet.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this
request by a vote of 6-0,

ZBA 74-Z-87 and ZBA 76-V-87, Kenneth Drive
The Petitioner is requesting rezoning from R -X,
assigned upon annexation, to I-1 and a variation to
allow a 25,000 square foot parcel instead of the
required 4 acres. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting these requests by a vote of 6-00
E. ZBA 75 -V -87F 1001 E. Cardinal Lane
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a
driveway width of 24 feet instead of the permitted 18
feet and a variation to allow a 10 foot front yard,
instead of the required 30 feet, for an extra parking
area., The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting these requests by a vote of 6-0.
F. A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE DECLARATION OF TRUST OF
THE ICMA
This Resolution authorizes participation in the
Trust, which is in conjunction with the Deferred
Compensation Plan of the ICMA. (Exhibit C)
X. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT
A. Field Change: Randvie- Townhomes,, to permit wooden
decks for Phases 1A, 1B and 2A*
B. Field Change: Montgomery Ward sign at Randhurst
C. Request to waive bidding procedure in order to
purchase radios for the Police Department which are
specialized equipment.
D. Request to waive bidding procedure in order to
purchase self-contained breathing apparatus units
for the Fire Department.
