A. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance creates one Class "S" liquor license
for La Hacienda (formerly Chessie's) located at the
northeast corner of Elmhurst and Rand Roads. (Exhibit A)

Th -e following items were continued from the
November 17th meeting at the request of the
Petitioner.
1. A request to rezone the subject property
from R -X to R-1 in order to create a 4 lot
subdivision on a cul de sac. The Zoning Board
of Appeals recommended unanimously to grant
this request.
2. Request for variation to permit a 21.481
front lot width on the cul de sac and a 6.5'
rear property line. By a unanimous vote, the
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
denying these variations.
3. Request for modifications from Chapter 16
(Development Code) to permit a non -radial lot line
to the cul de sac center and lot depth of less
than 120 feet* The Plan Commission recommended
granting these requests.
4. Meier Meadows Plat of Subdivision
The Plan Commission recommended approving this
Subdivision by a vote of 6-1.

lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 215 WELLER LANE
This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a
three car garage 761 square foot garage, and a
driveway width of 32-1/2 feet. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by a
vote of 6-0. (Exhibit B)

lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 607 NORTH EASTMAN
This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a
detached garage to be located 3-1/2 feet from a
principal structure instead of the required 10 feet.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting
this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit C)

This Ordinance rezones the subject property
from R -X to I -I, The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a
unanimous vote. (Exhibit D)
2. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A
VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF KENNETH DRIVE
This Ordinance grants a variation to allow
a 25,000 square foot parcel within an I-1
District rather than the required 4 acres.
The Zoning Board of,Appeals recommended
granting this request by a unanimous vote. (Exhibit E)

lst reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1001 E. CARDINAL
This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a
driveway width of 24 feet instead of the permitted
18 feet and a variation to allow a 10 foot front
yard, instead of the required 30 feet, for an
extra parking area, The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting these requests by a vote of 6-0.

The Petitioner is requesting rezoning from R --X,
assigned upon annexation, to R-1 in order to construct
a single family home. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0.
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF $51000,Q00 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF INDt3STRIAL
DEVELOPMENT REFUNDING REVENUE BONDS (GRACO INC.
PROJECT), SERIES 1987; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND
DELIVERY OF A LOAN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS AND GRACO, INC.;,AETHORIZING
THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF AN INDENTURE OF TRUST
SECURING SAID BONDS; APPROVING CERTAIN OTHER
DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
SALE OF SAID BONDS AND RELATED MATTERS
This authorizes an amendment to the original
Industrial Revenue Bond issue so that Graco can
re -finance. (Exhibit K)

A. Authorize contract with Donohue relative to
engineering services for the Sanitary Sewer
Rehabilitation Design for Prospect Meadows Sanitary
District.

C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO ABATE A PART OF THE
TAXES LEVIED FOR CORPORATE AND MUNICIPAL PURPOSES OF
