HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2145 02/18/1969 /"""'" - - ORDINANCE NO. 2145 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19.1 AND SECTION 19.2 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the Plan Conmission of the Village of Mount Prospect did hold a Public Hearing on November 15, 1968 under Case 68-48p at the instance of the Village of Mount Prospect to amend the al101<lable uses in the B-3 District and B-4 District of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect; and \VHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and published in the manner provided by law; and \tvHEREAS, the Plan Conmission of the Village of I/Iount Prospect has recomnended that the zoning amendments be granted; and w~, the Judiciary Comnittee of the Board of Trustees did meet on January 30, 1969, and concur \'li th the recomnendations of the Plan Commission; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission recomnenda- tion on Case 68-48p; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE \7ILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Section 19.1 (B-3 District) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect be amended by adding thereto a new sub- paragraph (9) which shall be and read as follows: "(9) Retail business establishments except uses 2 to 15 inclusive of Section 22." SECTION ThlO: That Section 19.2 (B-4 District) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect be amended by deleting sub-paragraph (22) therein in its entirety so that Section 19.2 (B-4 District) shall contain 21 sub-paragraphs. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the roamer prOvided by law. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 PASSED AND APPROVED THIS
