ORDINANCE NO. 2153 AN ORDINANCE AlvJENDING MAP 42S OF THE MOUNT PROSPEGr ZONING ORDINANCE VJHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore on October 18, 1968, conducted a public hearing under Case No. 68-45P on a request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single-Family Residence District) to R-4 (Residential Planned Development District) of certain property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the manner pro- vided by lavT and published in the October 1, 1968 edition of a newspaper of general circulation within the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning change is in accord with the Comprehensive Plan of the Village of Mount Prospect for that area and would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospedt; and WHEREAS. the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has recommended that the zoning change be granted; and VJHEREAS, the Judiciary Corrnnittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on January 30, 1969, and reviewed Case No. 68-45P. and have recorrnnended that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospec concur with the recorrnnendation of the Plan Commission of the Village of ~Jjount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission's recorrnnendation on Case No. 68-45P regarding the subject property; NOlI]. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEGr, COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE That map 42S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be, and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from R-X (Single-family Residence District) to R-4 (Residential Planned Development) the following described property: The East 840.40 feet, except the East 223.0 feet thereof and except the North 200.0 feet of the West 100.0 feet thereof of the North 20 acres of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4, of Section 23, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian. in Cook County. Illinois; SECTION T\lJO: That the development of the hereinabove described property shall be in conformity with the plans drawn by Robert Babbin, architect, dated October. 1968, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. subject to meeting all the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance of Mount Prospect regarding R-4 Residential Planned Developments. SECTION 'IHREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law. AYES: 6 4th day of MarCh, 1969. NAYS: 0
