HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2157 03/04/1969 -- ~ ORDINANCE NO. 2157 AN ORDINANCE Al'iJEt"JDING SEcrION 31 OF THE ZONING ORDL"JANCE OF THE VILLAGE 0:8' MOUNT PROSPEGr BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEGr, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SEGrION 1. That Section 31 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as arpended, is hereby further arrended by adding thereto in alpha- betical order the following definitions, which definitions shall be and read as follows: COMMON OPEN SPACE is a parcel or parcels of land within the site designated for a planned unit development and designated and intended for the use or enjoyment of residents ofl occupants of the planned unit development. Such open space may contain such corrplementary structures such as swinming pools, cabanas, bathhouses and/or incidental buildings servicing such common open space, and improvements as are necessary and appropriate for the use of said open space but shall not contain off-street parking facilities or other surface improvements required by the Ordinances of the Village of Mount Prospec . COIvlf'.10N OWNERSHIP OR CCNrROL: With respect to planned unit developments common ownership or control shall mean unity of ownership or legal authority to act on behalf of all owners which shall be evidenced by deed, contract, or other written guarantee. DENSITY vJITH RESPEGr TO PLAi"JNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS: rensity shall be considere to be lot area per dwelling unit requirement:; floor area ratio of specific buildings, and other standards relating to the amount of lot area or floor space allocated to specific uses under other provisions of this Zoning Ordin- ance. DEVELOPMENT SCHEDULE: A specific construction program detailing the phases, stages, and timing of construction. PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT is an area or tract of land under corrnnon ownership or control to be developed as a single entity for a number of structures, the plan for which does not necessarily correspond in lot size, bulk or type of dwelling, use, lot coverage or required open space to the regulations established in the zoning district in which said land is located. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner prescribed by law.
