AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 24.067 ACRES NORlli AND SOUI'H OF GOLF ROADS At'IJD EAST OF
MEIER ROAD BETv'JEEN LONNQUIS':e BOUlEVARD At'IJD GROVE DRIVE
WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described is both contiguous to the Village of
Mount Prospect and wholly bounded on all sides by the Village of Mount Prospect
and the Village of Arlington Heights, arld
WHEREAS, the said territory is not presently within the boundaries of any.'
municipali t~.; and
liJJ.-IEREAS, the said property comprises less than sixty (60) acres; and

WHEREAS j the Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 24. Section 7-1-13 provide for
the annexation of such territory by the Village upon passage of an Ordinance
pursuant thereto; and
WHEREAS j the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County j Illinois. find and believe it to be in the best interests of the
Village of flIount Prospect that the said land and territory be annexed
thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1'"1' ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TJ.-IE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SEC"1'ION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows, to-wit:
Lot 4 (except the west 275.50 feet of the north 475.0 feet thereof)
and that part of Lot 5 lying west of a line 1833.60 feet west of
and parallel to the east line of Section 15, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian and which lies north
of the south line of the Northi'lest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said
Section 15 all in the division of the Louis F. Busse Farm, being the
Northeast 1/4, except the west 686.40 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of
the Northeast 1/4 of Section 15, Township 41 North, Ran~ 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian and except the road,
together with
the 50 feet which lies south of and' adj oining the south line of
Lot 4 aforesaid and the 50 feet which lies north of and adjoining
the north line of that part of Lot 5 aforesaid,

the east 4511. 40 feet of Lot 5 (except the east 281. 0 feet of the
north 475.0 feet thereof and except the west 173. 40 feet of the
east 454.40 feet of the north 335.0 feet thereof) and Lot 10
(except the west 2.0 acres thereof) and all of Lot 11 all in
Meier Brothers Subdivision being a subdivision of parts of Sections
10 and 15, Township 41 North, Range 11, east of the Third Principal

the 50 feet which lies south of and adj oining the south line of
that part of Lot 5 aforesaid and the 50 feet which lies north of
and adj oining the north line of that part of Lot 10 aforesaid
and the 50 feet which lies north of and adj oining the north line
of Lot 11 aforesaid;
