fu'-J ORDINANCE AMENDING I\'IAP 16N OF THE HOUNT
PROSPEGr ZONING ORDINANCE
\VHEREAS. the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore on
February 21. 1969. conducted a public hearing under Case No. 69-1P on a
request for a zoning classification change from R-l (Single Family Residence
District) to B-2 (Business - Office District) of certain property hereinafter
des cribed; and
\lliEFEAS. a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the rnarmer pro-
vided by law; and
HHEREAS. the Plan Commission has detennined that the zoning change is in
accord with the overall plan in that area and it would in no way be detri-
mental to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
"WHEREAS. the Plan Conmission of the Nillage of J'vlount Prospect has reconrnended
that the zoning change be granted; and
WHEREAS. the Judiciary Conmittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect did meet on March 13. 1969; and reviewed Case No. 69-1P and
have detennined that said reconmenda.tion of the Plan' Commission would be in
the best interest of the Village of r/lount Prospect; and
. WHEFEAS. the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of ~1ount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will
be attained by the adoption of the Plan Comnission' s recommendation on Case
No. 69-1P regarding the subject property;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE rr ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDEt'-JT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF fJIOUNT PIDSPEGr, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 16N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of f,1ount
Prospect; as amended, be and is hereby, further amended by reclassifying
from R-l (Single-Family Residence District) to B-2 (Business - Office District)
the following described property:
The South 210.54 feet of the North 886.10 feet of that part
of the Northwest Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section
34. Township 42 North, Range 11. East of the Third Principal
Meridian. lying Southwest of the Southwest line of Rand Road.
excepting therefrom the West 575.61 feet thereof. in Cook
County. Illinois. and having the real estate index number
03-34-200-018.
SECTION TI'iO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
