ORDINANCE NO. 2170
AN ORDINANCE AMENDrnG r-1Ap 22 N OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan COtl1Ilission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore
on February 21, 1969, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. conducted a public hearing
under Case No. 69-4P on a request for zoning classification changes !'rom
RX (single family residence district) to B-4 (business - retail and
service district) and B-3 (business - retail and service district) to
B-4 (business - retail and service district) of certain parcels of pro-
perty hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the manner
provided by law and pUblished in the February 3, 1969, edition of a
newspaper of general circulation wi thin the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the Plan Comnission has detennined that the zoning changes are
in accord with the Comprehensive Plan of the Village of Mount Prospect
for that area and would in no wa:y be detrimental to the Village of
MOlIDt Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Comnission of the Village of Mount Prospect has re-
commended that the zoning changes be granted upon the condition that
both parcels hereinafter described shall be resubdivided into one lot;
and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Conmittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of MOlIDt Prospect did meet on J1.me 12, 1969 and did'"'review Case No. 69-4P,
and aav.e recorrmended that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect concur with the reconmendation of the Plan Commission of the
Village of M01.mt Prospect; and
vJHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of MOlIDt
Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of
Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission t s
reconmendation on Case No. 69-4P regarding the subject property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, rooK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: 'Ihe Map 22M of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby 'tiurther amended by re-
classifying frcm R-X (single family residence district) to B-4 (business -
retail service District) the following described property:
Lot 6 in Block 3 in Prospect Meadows a subdivision of the
West half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 42
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the Plat thereof recorded December 9, 1949 as document
14692921 in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: 'Ihat Map 22N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect. as amended, be and hereby further amended by reclassi-
fying from B-3,(business - retail and service District) to B-4 (business
retail and serVice District) the following described property:
Mack Cadillac Corporation subdivision in the Southwest 1/4
of Section 27, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the
'Ihird Principal Meridian, Cook County. Illinois.

SEcrION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force
md effect whatsoever, until after its passage, approval, publication. and
uch tirre as an accurate plat resubdividing the parcels described in
)ections One and Two above is recorded with the Recorder of ~ds of Cook
:X>unty, Illinois; a copy of which plat of resubdivision shall be attached
ereto and made a part hereof.
