called to order by Chairman Donald Weibel at 8:00 P.M. at the
Village Hall, 100 South Emerson St., Mount Prospect, Illinois,

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. B ege ' e motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting
of November 16, 1988, was seconded by Mr. Velasco. All members
voted Aye and Chairman Weibel declared the minutes approved.

final plat which will create lots for 38 townhomes, plus five

o the townhome purchasers, The applicant, 'fier r ie Frediani, plus
two of his attorneys, was in attendance.
Mr. Frediani explained that title will be a fee simple and not a
condominium arrangement, as per the consent decree. Common
property will be owned by the Homeowners' ,Association which.
.Association will also be a part of the Colony Country Master
Association. Eleven general parking spaces were to be made
available as a part of this decree. 'three have already been

turned over and the eight remaining ( and the other ut l is) will
e deeded over when the title transfers are finalized in January,
1989,
Mr. Velasco moved, and Mr. McGovern seconded that this Plat he
approved and that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to
sign, All members voted Aye and the Chairman declared the motion
passed.

run without proper supervision. Other residents present
echoed affirmation of this point, and other unsatisfactory
conditions,

this Association, described deficiency conditions in the
Boxwood area, specifically requesting assistance with

Mr. Boege complimented the Boxwood residents for having attended
this meeting,
Flike Sims noted that December 16f 1988 Is the deadline for
qubmitting proposals to the CDBG.
40, Mount Prospect Historical Society. Dolores Haugh appeared for
the Society requesting funds to provide access and toilet
facilities for handicapped visitorsto •Farmhouse
downtown Mount Prospect which they had just purchased and
are in the process ofrestoring.
Mount Prospect Library: Mr, William Blaine presented the
Library's request for automatic doors at the various Library
entrances. He explained that present doors are heavy and
difficult to open by seniors, small children and mothers

citizens that these doors would also be available for use by
low incomepersons,
6. Others. Mike Sims stated that the had received some suggestions
from other Staff members, but none had been ready for
presentation at this meeting. These will be prepared for the
next meeting and will also show other sources of funds
availablefor projects.

QUESTIONS and COMMENTS
r . Weibel circulated a Holiday Greeting from the Mayor and the
Board to members of the Plan commission. Mr. Sims also dis-
tributed

There being no further business, the Chairman declared the
