The Petitioner is requesting a variation from a
previously approved Site plan and modifications
from the Development Code relative to curbing and
length and width of parking isle to permit parking
in rear yard. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended denying the request and the Plan
Commission recommended granting the modifications
from the Development Code.

FOR. PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 117 W.LONNQUIST
BLVD.
This Ordinance grants a variation to permit a
circular driveway with two curb cuts. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting this request
by a vote of 4-0. The Zoning Board. of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of
5-0.

This Ordinance amends the text of Article XVIII
to permit 'day care center' as a special use in
a B-2 District. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of
5-0. (Exhibit B)

LOCATED ON KENSINGTON ROAD NORTH OF RUSSEL
STREET
This Ordinance re -zones, the subject property
from R-1 to B-2. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of

3. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL
USE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON KENSINGTON ROAD
NORTH OF RUSSEL STREET
This Ordinance grants a special use to permit
a KinderCare Learning Center. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting the
requests by votes of 5-0. (Exhibit D)
4. Margaret M. Jung Plat of Subdivision
This Plat divides the prope I rty being the
subject of the preceeding Ordinances into two
lots of record. The Plan Commission
recommended approving this subdivision.
D. ZBA 87-A-871 Text Amendments
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING REGULATIONS
GOVERNING OFF-STREET PARKING
These proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance
deal with off-street parking, driveway widths and
rear yards. Discussion on parking as it relates
to recreational vehicles has been removed from the
proposal in order to provide a citizens committee
to discuss the issue. (Exhibit E)
XI, NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 14-Z-88 & ZBA 15-V-88, 221 w. Prospect Avenue
The Petitioner is requesting rezoning from R-3 to
B-2 bringing an existing medical office building
into proper zoning in order to expand the
entrance area. Also requested are variations to
allow the existing 6 off-street parking spaces,
instead of the required 21; to waive the
requirement for one off-street loading space; to
allow an existing 2 foot front yard instead of
the minimum of 20 feet; to allow an existing
zero foot interior yard on the south instead of
the required 10 feet; and, to allow an existing
1 foot rear yard instead of the required 20 feet.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting
these requests by votes of 6-0.
B. ZBA 16-V-88, 1108 North Elmhurst Road
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow
a Floor Area Ratio of .233 to allow for a second
floor to be added to this existing single family
home, rather than the .20 permitted under
existing zoning. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote'of
6-00
C. ZBA 17-V-88, 1000 East Ardyce Lane
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to
permit a .41 Floor Area Rato instead of the
normal .35 to permit a room addition to this
existing single family home. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by a
vote of 6-0*

OF CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE)
This Ordinance increases the daily parking meter
fee from .75 to $1.00 a day as well as all other
municipal lots proportionately.

This Ordinance, also required by IDOT, prohibits

N. lst reading of AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING JURSIDICTION
OF THE WOLF ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY
In order for the State to fund the Wolf Road
improvement the jursidiction for that portion of
Wolf Road within the corporate limits of the Village
must be transferred to the Village. This Ordinance
accomplishes the transfer. (Exhibit Q)
O. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF MOTOR
