AN ORDINANCE AIVlENDING THE FLOOR PmA RATIO IN THE R-l (SINGIE-FPJvIILY RESI-
DENCE) DISTRICT. SECTION 4 'OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE NO. 2131
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect, held a
public hearing on September 20, 1968, at the Village Hall, pursuant to
proper legal notice published in the Prospect Day on August I, 1968; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission did hear testimony on the Floor Area Ratio
in R-l (Single Family Residence) Districts under Case No. 68-39P; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect subsequently net on December 12, 1968 and reviewed Case
No. 68-39P and concur with therecol11!'rendations of the Plan Commission; and
'VJHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have reviewed Case No. 68-39P and have determined that the same
is for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, IILINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the provision found in Section 4, under "R-l District _
Bulk Regulations" of the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance as amended is
hereby further amended, by deleting 110.25" and adding "0.35" so that line
(f) shall be and read as follows:
"( f) Maximum F. A. R.
0.35"
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, publication, and approval in the manner provided by law.
