2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERLTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 322 MARCELLA
This Ordinance grants a variation to permit a 15
foot front yard instead of the required 30 feet
in order to add an attached garage to a single
family home. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of
6-0. (Exhibit B)

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1005 CYPRESS
This Ordinance grants variations to permit a
parking pad resulting in a driveway width of
27-1/2 feet wide, a side yard of 6-1/2 feet
instead of 7.3 feet and a zero foot front yard.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting
this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit C)

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE
IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS OLD ORCHARD COLONY
COUNTRY ESTATES
This Ordinance grants a Special Use in the
nature of a Planned Unit Development to permit an
amendment to the Consent Decree to permit the
construction of a 332 townhouse - arbor home
complex. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting the request by a vote of 7-0. (Exhibit D)

EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AMENDED CONSENT

MOUNT PROSPECT, NO. 65CH 5300 (Exhibit E)
E 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
('TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends the Traffic Code to authorize
a STOP sign on Milburn, eastbound at Emerson St.
eastbound traffic. The Safety Commission
recommended granting the request. (Exhibit F)

The Petitioner is requesting variation from a
previously approved site plan and modifications from
the Development Code relative'to curbing and length
and width of parking isle to permit parking in rear
yard.

The Petitioner is requesting a variation to
permit a circular driveway with two curb cuts.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting
this request by a vote of 4-0.
C. ZBA 9-A-881 10-Z-881 11 -SU -88, North side of
Kensington at Russel
The Petitioner is request a text amendment to
permit 'day care center' as a special use in a
B-2 District; re -Zoning from R-1 to B-2; and
special use to permit a KinderCare Learning
Center. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting the requests by votes of 5-0.
D. ZBA 87-A-87, Text Amendments
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING REGULATIONS
GOVERNING OFF-STREET PARKING
These proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance
deal with off-street parking, driveway widths
and rear yards. Discussion on parking as it
relatives to recreational vehicles has been
removed from the proposal in order to provide a
citizens committee to discuss the issue. (Exhibit G)
