CALL TO ORDER - ROLL CALL 11. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES OF JUNE 10, 1986 III., CITIZENS TO BE HEARD IV. ELEVATED WATER STORAGE ANALYSIS Previously, the Mayor and Board of Trustees engaged the engineering consulting firm of Black & Veatch to evaluate the need for elevated water storage reservoirs or in the alternative the mechanics and procedures by which the Village water system could be operated without elevated storage. Black and Veatch has completed their report and their representative will be available at the COW meeting to review the details of the report and the various options and cost estimates. The report projects a number of analytical strategies and reviews for the Board the options available based upon that analysis. I have also invited Dave Jepson, Finance Director, to attend the meeting and Steve Park, Director of Planning and Zoning. Additionally, Jack Pettigrew, the consultant on our Tax Increment Financing proposal will also be in attendance in order that we may gauge realistically the impact of our decision upon the long-term interests of not only the water system but the Tax Increment Financing District. V. PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING PARKING LOT The Public Works staff has re-evaluated the present configuration of parking within the Public Safety Building lot. Presently, we have 55 spaces available and that is insufficient for our employees and visitors. Through a re -design of existing space, the Public Works staff concludes that we could have 68 parking spaces made available for an out-of-pocket expense of less than $5,000. Attached to the Agenda is a brief summary and the proposed parking lot configuration. VI. PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY UPDATE A number of meetings have been held with the consultant, staff and Trustees Arthur and Van Geem. In order to keep the entire Board appraised of the progress of the study, its directions and outlook, Trustees Arthur and Van Geem and Mr. Burghard will give a brief verbal overview. VII.
