A recommendation from the Safety Commission was presented to authorize the installation of "YIELD" signs on Russel ,Street at Isabella Street. This request was made by residents of the area due to the recent accident where a young lady was killed. It was asked by Trustee Floros why the Safety Commission would recommend a YIELD slign rather than a STOP sign. Village Manager Burghard stated that he did not know the discussion that took place but stated he would distribute all the ormation prior to the next Board meeting. Trustee Wattenberg, seconded by Trustee Arthur, moved to *th the recommendation of the Safety Commission and concur wl amend the Traffic Code to include a YIELD sign on Russel at Isabella for both north and southbound traffic'.
