4. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL
USE FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE EAST SIDE
OF WOLF ROAD BETWEEN EUCLID AVENUE AND
KENSINGTON ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
(SIMONSEN'S NURSERY)
This Ordinance grants a special use in the nature
of a Planned Unit Development in order to develop
the subject property with 96 single family homes
and a 50,200 square foot shopping center. (Exhibit K)

VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE EAST
SIDE OF WOLF ROAD BETWEEN EUCLID AVENUE AND
KENSINGTON ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
(SIMONSEN'S NURSERY)
This Ordinance grants various variations necessary
to development the subject property with 96 single

6. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS
FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY
KNOWN AS THE EAST SIDE OF WOLF ROAD BETWEEN EUCLID
AVENUE AND KENSINGTON ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT (SIMONSEN'S NURSERY)
This Ordinance grants modifications from various
Sections of Chapter 16 (Development Code) for the
subject property. (Exhibit M)
F. PUBLIC HEARING
This Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal
notice, is for the purpose of considering the
vacation of Serafine Drive.
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE VACATING VILLAGE
RIGHT-OF-WAY COMMONLY KNOWN AS SERAFINE DRIVE
This Ordinance authorizes the vacation of the
subject property located between Rand Road and
Albert Street. The Plan Commission recommended
the vacation of the subject property. (Exhibit N)
IX, NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 59-V-86, 701 Candota Avenue
The petitioner, Dennis Garde, is requesting four
variations to add a second garage and second drive-
way. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 7-0 to
grant this request.
B. ZBA 60 -Z -86t 1740 W. Dempster
The petitioner is requesting to rezone the parcel
from B-3 to B-4 in order to operate a Fair
Automotive Shop for auto repair. The Zoning Board
of Appeals voted 7-0 to grant this request.
C. ZBA 61-Z-86, Lonnquist and Meier Roads
The petitioner is requesting a rezoning from R -X
to R-1 to permit two additional single family
residences. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted
7-0 to deny this request.
D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 14
ENTITLED "ZONING" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT TO PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN CHANGES TO THE
ZONING CODE AND TO CREATE A NEW CHAPTER 7 ENTITLED
"SIGN ORDINANCE" OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance places the regulations governing
signs into a Chapter specifically for signs. The
Ordinance also amends various Sections of
Chapter 14 as it pertains to signs. (Exhibit 0)
