ORDINANCE NO. 2213
AN ORDn~ANCE AMENDING MAPS 35S AND 36S OF THE MOUNT PROSPEGr ZCNING ORDINAt'JCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Ccmmission of the Village of Mount Prospect did heretofore
conduct a public hearing under Case No. 69-10P at the hour of 8 :00 p. m. on
March 21, 1969, pursuant to a request for zoning classification changes in
conjunction with a planned unit development, which requested changes were
from R-X (Single-Family Residence District) to R-4 (Residential Development
District) of certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the manner pro-
vided by law and published in the March 4, 1969 edition of a newspaper of
general circulation ldthin the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Comnission has recanmended that the za'rl.ng changes be
granted in that they would in no wB...V be detrimental to the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of f>lJ'ount Prospect
on November 25, 1969 did hold a pre-armexation hearing in the manner provided
by law regarding the aforementioned request for a planned unit development;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will
be attained by the adoption of the Plan Canmission' s recOITJIrendation under
Case No. 69-10P regarding the subject property;
NCM, lliEREFORE, BE rr ORDAINED BY THE PRESIIENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VIILAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Maps 35S and 36S of the Zooing Ordinance of the Village
of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and are hereby further amended by reclassi-
fying from R-X (Single-Family Residence District) to R-4 (Residentatal
Development District) that part of the East half of Section 14, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Carmencing at a point 50.00 feet West of the
Southeast comer of the Northeast 1/4 of the
Southeast 1/4 of said Section; thence North along
a line 50 feet West of and parallel with the East
line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section to a
point 445.0 feet South of the North line thereof;
thence West parallel with said North line to a
point on the West line of the East 485.0 feet
of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section; thence
North along said West line to the North line of
the Southeast 1/4 of said section; thence West

along said North line to a point 1079.32 feet
West of the Northeast corner of the Southeast
1/4 of said section; thence North on a course
forming a deflection angle of 91 degrees
03 minutes 48 seconds from West to North with
the North line of the Southeast 1/4 of said
section to a point 500.0 feet South of the center
line of a Public Road (Golf Road); thence West
parallel with said center line to the point of
intersection with the West line of the South-
east 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section;
thence South along said West line to the South-
west corner of the Southeast 1/4 of the North-
east 1/4 of said Section; thence South along the
East line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast
1/4 of said Section to the point of intersection
with the North line of the South 20 acres of
the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said
Section; thence West along said North line to
the West line of the Southeast 1/4 of said
Section; thence South along said West line to
the point of intersection with the North line
of the South 130.0 feet of the North 10 acres
of the South 20 acres of the Northwest 1/4
of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section; thence
East along aaid North line to the East line
of the West 196.0 feet of the Northwest 1/4
of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section; thence
South along said East line to the point of
intersection with the South line of the North
130.0 feet of the South 10 acres of the North-
west 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section~
thence West along the said South line to the
point of intersection with the West line of
the Southeast 1/4 of said Section; thence
South along the said West line to the Southwest
corner of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast
1/4 of said Section~ thence East along the
South line of the Northwest 1/4 of the South-
east 1/4 of said Section 477.89 feet; thence
South parallel with the West line of the
Southeast 1/4 of said Section to the point of
intersection with the Northerly line of the
Right of Way of the Commonwealth Edison Company,
being a line described as beginning at a point
in the East line of said Southwest 1/4 of the
Southeast 1/4 of said Section 100.21 feet
South of the Northeast corner thereof and running
thence Southwesterly 1344.38 feet to a point on
the West line of said Southwest 1/4 of the
Southeast 1/4 which is 1010.48 feet North of the
South line of said Section 14 (as measured along
the said West line of said Southwest 1/4 of the
Southeast 1/4)~ thence Northeasterly along said
Northerly line of the Commonwealth Edison Company
right of way to the point of intersection with the
West line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast
1/4 of said Section 14; thence continuing North-
easterly along said Northerly Right of Way line
to a point on the South line of the Northeast 1/4
of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 598.75 feet
East of the Southwest corner of the Northeast 1/4
of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section; thence East
along said South line to the place of beginning,
all in Cook County~ Illinois.

SECTION T\tJO: That the development of the property described in
SEGrION ONE above shall be in confonni ty with the plans contained
in the pre-annexation agreement made a part of Resolution 35-69
passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect on December 2 t 1969.
SECTION THREE: That Map 35S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by reclassifying from R-X (Single-Family Residence District)
to R- 3 (Apartment Residence District) the following described property:
The North 130" 00 feet of the West 196.0 feet of the
South 10 acres of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4,
together with the South 130,,0 feet of the West 196.0 feet
of the North 10 acres of the South 20 acres of the North-
west 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, all in Section 14, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County t Illinois.
SEGrION FDUR: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law"
