The Committee heard three liquor license requests:
Scaiida House Restaurant - Mt. Prosl-Imll 111=13

Mr. Valmont A. Turgeon, owner of the establishment, presented a
request for a Class "R" license (liquor sold in conjunction with
food service only). His plan is to serve liquor only for recept-
ions and banquets, and not with his regular food service operation®
He said he was losing out on banquets and parties because he
could not serve liquor®
The Committee voted 3-0 for the creation of a Class "R11 license
to be issued to Scanda House.
Su Mee Korean Restaurant - 10 N. Main:

Owner Mr. Chun Rae Park appeared before the Committee to request
a Class "R11 license for the restaurant located in the shopping
center at Route 83 and Central Road. The Korean type restaurant
has been operating for about 5 months. Mr. Park expressed the
familiar lament of restaurant operators -- namely, that it is
extremely difficult to maintain a successful restaurant these
days without being able to provide liquor.
The Committee voted 3-0 for the creation of a Class 11R" liquor
license to be issued to the Su Mee Restaurant.
Chiuls Mandarin Restaurant 105 S. Main:
Mrs. Shyue F. Chiu, owner, and Jerry Jacob, her attorney, also
requested the issuance of a Class "R11 license for the 74 seat
restaurant located on Main Street just north of Northwest Highway.
The restaurant has been open since last December and, according
to Mrs. Chiu, that to satisfy custor�er demand she must have
liquor to go along with the food fare.
The Committee voted 3-0 to grant a Class "R11 license that would
be issued to Chiuls Mandarin Restaurant.
