MOUNT PROSPECT FIREMENS' PENSION FUND BOARD
JULY 19, 1982
CALL TO ORDER
Board President Pairitz called the meeting'to order at 7:30 P.M.
ROLL CALL _
Present upon roll call: Fire Chief Lawrence A. Pairitz, President
Lt. D. Barra, Secretary
Carolyn H. Krause, Mayor
Richard L. Jesse, Treasurer
Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk
Absent: Del Ulreich, Firefighter
George Cullens, Retired Firefighter
Village Attorney
Ron Olsen, Firefighter (arrived late)
Also Present: Bill Tanker, Assistant, Village Finance
Department
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Richard Jesse, seconded by Carolyn Krause, moved to approve.;
the minutes of the regular meeting of the Mount Prospect
Firemens' Pension Fund Board held April 19, 1982.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Pairitz; Krause; Jesse; Fields;
Barra
Nays: None
Motion carried.
ANNUAL ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Board President Pairitz declared nominations open for the
position of President of the Pension Board.
Carol Fields, seconded by Richard Jesse, moved to
nominate Fire Chief Pairitz to the position of President.
There being no further nominations, it was declared
nominations closed.
Upon call the motion to appointe Fire Chief Pairitz to
the position of President of the Pension Board, the
motion was passed with a unanimous vote.
Nominations were opened for the position of Secretary to
the Pension Board.
Richard Jesse, seconded by Carolyn Krause, moved to
nominate Carol Field to the position of Secretary.
There being no further nominations, it was declared
nominations closed.
Upon call the motion for a vote, the motion was
declared passed by a unanimous vote to appoint
Carol Fields as Secretary for the Pension Board.
Firefighter Olsen arrived at the meeting at this point
in the meeting.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Richard Jesse, Treasurer, presented the financial
report.
Lt. Barra, seconded by Ron Olsen, moved to accept
the financial report as presented.
Upon roll call: Aves `Unanimous
Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
FINANCE COMMITTEE
It was stated that the annual report from the Village
will be sent to the State, as required by law.
MEDICAL COMMITTEE
The Board acknowledged receipt of a letter from
Dr. J. A. Naatz, stating that George Cullens, retired
firefighter, had,completed his physical examination and
that the physical condition causing his disability had
not improved and that lie could not return to work.
This letter will be placed in the official files.

NEW BUSINESS
None.
ADJOURN
Richard Jesse, seconded -by Carol Fields, moved to
adjourn the meeting.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Unanimous
Motion carried.
