ROLL CALL Present upon roll call: Edward Cavello, Fire Chief/President Richard Jesse, Treasurer Delbert Ulreich, Firefighter Donald Barra, Retired Firefighter Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary Absent: Carolyn Krause, Mayor Stewart McKillop, Firefighter Randy Werderitch, Firefighter Village Attorney CONSIDER REQUEST FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE FUND FROM MICHAEL CLINARD It was noted that this matter was considered at a Special Meeting on February 4, 1988, however, due to high blood pressure and body fat results from the medical clinic, it was suggested that Michael Clinard obtain another blood pressure test. It was noted that Dr. Zydlow, of Northwest Community Hospital, had retested Mr. Clinard at the request of this Board. That test was conducted and a verbal opinion was given to the Fire Chief stating that the blood pressure test indicated a normal reading and it was Dr. Zydlow's opinion that the Board accept Michael Clinard into the Fund. Carol Fields requested normal ranges be supplied to members of the Board as to blood pressure and percentage of body fat so a more informed determination could be given. It was noted that on a previous occasion the body fat level of a prospective member was slightly higher than the 25.4% for Michael Clinard and that person was deemed "obese", and if a determination was made based on weight, height, etc. that would help her offer a better understanding in order to offer an informed decision. It was stated by Chief Cavello that there are no normal ranges therefore that type of information is not available. Del Ulreich, seconded by Donald Barra, moved to accept Michael Clinard into the Mount Prospect Firemens Pension Fund. Upon roll call: Ayes: Cavello, Ulreich, Jesse, Barra, Fields Nays: None Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 8:26 AM Carol A. Fields ,Secretary Note: On the day Michael Clinard was to be sworn in as a member of the Mount Prospect Fire Department, he notified the Fire Chief that he was no longer interested in accepting the position, therefore Michael Clinard is not a member of the Fund.
