MOUNT PROSPECT FIREMENS PENSION FUND BOARD
FEBRUARY 4, 1988
CALL TO ORDER
The Secretary called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M..
ROLL CALL
Present upon roll call: Carolyn Krause, Mayor
Richard Jesse, Treasurer
Delbert Ulreich, Firefighter
Donald Barra, Retired Firefighter
Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary
Randy Werderitch, Firefighter
Stewart McKillop, Firefighter
Absent: Chief Cavello
Village Attorney
The Secretary requested nominations for President Pro Tem.
Donald Barra nominated Richard Jesse. There being no further
nominations it was declared closed.
Donald Barra, seconded by Del Ulreich, moved for Richard Jesse to be
President Pro Tem.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Ulreich, Werderitch, McKillop, Krause,
Barra, Fields
Nays: None
Pass: Jesse
Motion carried.
CONSIDER REQUEST FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE FUND FROM MICHAEL CLINARD
An application was received from Michael Clinard for membership into
the Pension Fund. The medical report submitted indicated a blood
pressure of 132 over 98, which was considered high.
The examining clinic, Multiplex Midical Institute recommended
Mr. Clinard's wife, who is a nurse, take his blood pressure again and
report to the Pension Board.
It was the opinion of the members of the Board that Dr. Zydlow, of
Northwest Community Hospital, should retest Mr. Clinard's blood

pressure at various intervals in an effort to determine if the reading
presented was due to stress or a normal high reading. When Dr. Zydlow
as obtained the results this matter will be re -scheduled for further
consideration.
Randy Werderitch, seconded by Donald Barra, moved to have Dr. Zydlow
take Mr. Clinard's blood pressure at various intervals and report back
to the Medical Committee.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Jesse, McKillop, Werderitch, Barra,
Krause, Fields
Nays: None
Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:28 A.M.
