ORDINANCE NO. 2226
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 15N OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Cormnission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore on
Decerrber 19, 1969, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. conducted a public hearing under
Case No. 69-32P on a request for zoning classification changes from B-3
(Business - Retail and Service District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service
District) of certain parcels of property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was rrade in the rnarmer provid
ed by law and published in the November 26, 1969 edition of a newspaper of gen-
eral circulation within the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning changes would in no
way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect in that a service station
is presently operated upon the subj ect property; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has recommended
that the zoning changes be granted upon the condition that the parcels herein-
after described shall be resubdi vided into one lot; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will
be attained by the adoption of the Plan Conmission' s recommendation on Case No.
69-32P regarding the subject property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map l5N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Villag;e of Mount Pros
pect, as a.rrended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from B-3
(Business - Retail and Service District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service
District) the following described property:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Block 1 in
Randview Highlands, being a Subdivision
in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 34, Town-
ship 42 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois.
SECTION 'IWO: That this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and
effect whatsoever, until after its passage, approval, pUblication, and such
tine as an accurate plat resubdividing the six (6) lots described in SECTION
ONE above is recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, illinois; a
copy of which plat of resubdivision shall be attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
