HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2227 03/03/1970 ORDINANCE NO. 2227 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAPS 24-s and 34-S OF THE ZONlliG _ORDlliANCE OF ~ VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ltlHEREAS, the Plan Corrmission of the Village of Mount Prosepct did conduct a Public Hearing under Case 70-lP on January. 16, 1970 on a request for zoning calssification change from RX (Single-Family Residence District) to R-l (Single Family Residence Distirct) of certain property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and published in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Plan Corrmission of the Village of Mount Prospect has reconmended that the zming change be granted; and WHEREAS, the President and Poaro of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption. of the Plan Corrmission recoI'!lm:!ndation on Case lfO-.lP regarding the subject property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, llsLlliOIS: SECTION ONE: That Maps 24-S and 34-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as mrended, be and are hereby further amended by recl.assifying from the RX (Single-Family Residence District) to R-l (Single-Family Residence District) the following described property: That part of the West half of Section'll~, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the 'Ihird Principal Meridian I in the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois described as follows: The North 15 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, (except the West 12t of the South 112.81' thereof), in Cook County, Illinois. ALSO That part of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: COl!:li'l'encmg at a point on the South line of the said Northwest quarter of said Section 14, 757.6 feet East of the Southwest corner of the East half of the Northwest Quarter of said Section; running thence East along the South line of said Northwest Quarte , 438.88 feet to a point 129.32 feet West of the Southeast corner of said North- west Quarter; thence North 1006.80 feet to the center of Seeger Road, at a point 1199 feet Easterly measured along the center line of Seeger Road from the West line of the East half of the Northwest quarter of said Section; thence Westerly along the center line of Seeger Road, 440.18 feet; thence South to the place of beginning except from said premises that part dedicated for Hig-pway p - poses by plat of dedication recorded December 10, 1929 as document 10550568, in Cook County, Illinois.
