ORDINANCE NO. 2234
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (b) OF SEaI'ION 2.6.2
OF ARrICLE VI OF CHAPrER 21 OF THE MUm~IPAL CODE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF IDUNT PROSPEaI', COOK COUNrY, IU,INOIS:
SEaI'ION ONE: '!hat paragraph (b) of Section 2.6.2 of Article VI of Chapter 21 of
the Muriicipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as anended, be and is hereby furth~r
anended, by adding to the schedule therein contained a fee system for long tap
connections and a specific requirement that connections made by plunbing con-
tractors shall be subject to the inspection by the Village of Mount Prospect, so
that hereafter the said paragraph (b) shall be and read as follows:
"(b) Tap-on fees shall conform with the following schedule:

cne & a half (1*2) inch

(1) '!he above fees include charges for labor, rounding
stop cocks, stop boxes, goose necks, gate valves, and
other related tap-on materials which shall be supplied
by the $Ubilc Works Department of the Village of Mount
Prospect.
(2) A fifty ($50.00) dollar permit fee shall be
assessed for larger dianeter service pipe connections
than those listed above. In such instances all tap-ons
shall be made by pressure connection and valve on water
main by the plumbing contractor who nnlst furnish all
labor and material; and such tap-on shall be subj ect to
inspection and final approval by the Village of Mount
Prospect.
SECTION TWO:' '!hat this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
I after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
