ORDINANCE NO. 2268
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MOUNT PROSPECT BUILDING CODE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect did pass and approve Ordinance No. 2267 on November 17, 1970; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 2267 amended Article VIII (the Mount Prospect
Electrical Code) of Chapter 21 (the Building Code) of the Mount Prospect
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the said Electrical Code specified new electrical permit fees; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect believe it to be in the best interests of the Village of Mount
Prospect to amend Section 21.1407 to further ~eflect these new permit fees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VIlLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: 'Ihat Section 21.1407 of Chapter 21 (the Building Code) of
the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as agEnded, be and the same
is hereby further amended to include those permit fees presently con-
tained in the Mount Prospect Electrical Code (Article VIII of the said
Building Code); so that hereafter the said Section 21.1407 shall be and
read as follows:

(a) Single Family Residence
1,000 square feet
1,001 - 1,500 square feet
1,501 - 2,000 square feet
Over 2,000 square feet

(b) Multi-Family, Commercial & Industrial
15 or 20 amp. circuits
1 - 10 circuits, each circuit $ 4.50

(c) Motors (1/4 H.P. or over) 1st motor $ 7.00
Each additional motor 3.00
