ORDINANCE NO. 2211'
AN ORDJNANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF GOLF
ROAD WEST OF ROUTE 83 KNOWN AS HUNTJNGTON ESTATES
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owners
of record of land hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be armexed to the
Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, all electors residing within the said property to
be annexed have affixed their signatures indicating their cons~nt; and
WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality J but is contiguous to the Village of Mount;: Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the, president and Board of Trustees of the Village

of Mount Prospect find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said
Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOvI, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEGr, COOK COUNTY, ILUNOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described
as follows:

PARCEL I:
Canmencing at the Southeast comer of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 14, Township 41 North" Range 11... East of the Third Principal Meridian;
thence North along the East line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section to the
Northeast comer thereof; thence West along the North line of said Southeast 1/4
1079.32 feet; thence North on a course fonning a deflection angle to the right with
the North line of said Southeast 1/4 of Section 14 aforesaid of 91 degrees 03 minutes
48 seconds to the center line of Public Road (Golf Road); thence \1'est along the center
line of said Public Road (Golf Road) to the West line of the Southeast 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 of said Section; thence South along said West line to the Southwest
comer of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section; thence South
along the East line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section to the
point of intersection with the North line of the South 20 acres of the Northwest
1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Secticn; thence West along said North line to the

Northeast comer thereof and running thence Southwesterly 1344.38 feet to a point on
the West line of said Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 which is 1010.48 feet North
of the South line of said Section 14 (as measured along the said [Ilest line of said

by this reference be and the sane is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 'IWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder of Deed
of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance together with an
accurate map of the territory amexed.
SEGrION THREE: 'That this Ordinance shall be in full force
provided by law.
