ORDINANCE NUMBER 2318
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 23S OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. the Plan Commission of
the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore on July 16, 1971,
conducted a public hearing under Case No. 71-9P requesting
a zoning classification change from B-3 (Business - Retail
and Service District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service
District) of a certain parcel of property hereinafter des-
cribed; and
WHEREAS, notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made
in the manner provided by law and published in the June 29,
1971, edition of a newspaper of general circulation with-
in the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on August 12,
1971, and did review Case No. 71-9P, and has recommended
that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
reclassify the subject property to B-4 as requested; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect have determined that the best in-
terests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained
by the adoption of the Judiciary Committee's recommenda-
tion on Case No. 71-9P regarding the subject property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 23S of the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended by reclassifying from
B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) to B-4
(Business - Retail and Service District) the following
described property:
Lot twenty-nine (29)(except that part thereof lying
Easterly of a line drawn from a point on the Northerly
line of said lot which is seventy-five (75) feet
Westerly of the Northeasterly corner thereof to a
point on the Southerly line of said lot which is
seventy-five (75) feet Westerly of the Southeast
corner thereof) in Block one (l),:in Elk Ridge Villa
Unit No.1, being a subdivision in the West half
(W 1/2) of the West half (W 1/2) of Section Fourteen
(14), Township forty-one (41) North, Range eleven
(11) East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois.

SECTION TWO: That this ordinance shall be null and void
and of no force and effect whatsoever, until after its
passage, approval, publication, and such time as an accurate
plat resubdividing the subject parcel described in Section
One above as recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois, a copy of which p~at of resubdivision
shall be attached hereto and made a part hereof.
