ORDINANCE NO. 2313
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAPS 24-S OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on July 16, 1971 conducted a public hearing under
Case No. 71-7P on a request for a zoning classification change
from R-X (Single-family Residence District) to R-l (Single-
family Residence District) of certain property hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made
in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning
change is in accord with the Comprehensive Plan in that area
and would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
has recommended that the zoning change be granted; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of
the Plan Commission's recommendation on Case No. 71-7P regard-
ing the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That map 24-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby
further amended by reclassifying from R-X (Single-family
Residence District) to R-l (Single-family Residence District)
the following described parcel of property: I
That part of the North West 1/4 of Section 14, Township 41 II
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
described as follows: Beginning at the South West corner of ~I
the East 1/2 of the North West 1/4 of said section thence East
along the South line of said North West 1/4 755.64 feet to th
East line of the West 4/7ths of the East 1/2 of the North West
1/4 aforesaid, thence North along said East line 983.81 feet I
more or less to the Southerly line of Golf Road as dedicated \'1
by Document Number 10550569 recorded December 10, 1929 in
the Recorder's Office of Cook County, Illinois, thence West- I
erly along said Southerly line of Golf Road 761.05 feet more I
or less to the West line of the East 1/2 of the North West I
1/4 aforesaid thence South along said West line 1075.25 feet I
to the point of beginning all in Cook County, Illinois and I
also to include commencing at the intersection of the South I
line of said North West Quarter with the East line of the
West four sevenths of the East half of the Northwest Quarter I
aforesaid; thence North along said East line 743.01 feet to I
the point of beginning of the tract to be described; thence 'I
West parallel to the South line of said Northwest Quarter !

160.0 feet; thence North parallel to said East line of
the West four-sevenths of the East half of the Northwest
Quarter aforesaid, 240.80 feet to the Southerly line of
Golf Road as dedicated by Document Number 10550569, re-
corded December 10, 1929, in the Recorder's Office of
Cook County, Illinois; thence Easterly along said South-
erly line of Golf Road 160.37 feet to its intersection
with East line of the West four-sevenths of the East half
of the Northwest Quarter aforesaid; thence South along said
East line 227.0 feet to the point of beginning, all in
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication in the manner provided by law.
