ORDINANCE NO. 2287
AN ORDINANCE A{./lENDING I',1AP 388 OF THE HOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
:{}-iEREAS) at t:i1e hour of 8:00 p.m, the Plan Commission of the Village
of Mount Prospect heretofore on October 16, 1970) and Novembe:: 20,
1970, conducted public hearings under Case No, 70-l3P requestlng a
zoning classification change from B-3 (Business - Retail and Service
District) to B-4 (Business - Retail and Service District) of a ceytain
parcel of property hereinafter described; and
WhEREASc notices of tile aforesaid public hearings were made in the
manner provided by law and published in the Septemberc 28" and Novem-
ber 2) 1970, editions of a newspaper of general ~irculation within
the Village of Mount Prospect~ and
WHEREAS 9 t:i1e Judiciary Commi ttee of the Board of Trustees of the Villa2;e
of 110unt Prospect did meet on January 26) 1971, and did review Case No,
70-13P, and has recommended that the Board of Trustees of the Village of
I:'lount Prospect reclassify the subject property to B-4 as requested; and
NiiEREAS9 the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount
Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Judiciary Committee1s
recoumendation on Case No. 70-13P regarding the subject property:

SECTION ONE: That Map 38S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
rlount Prospect" as aL1ended.} be and the same is hereby further amended
by reclassifying from B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) to
H-4 (Business - Retail and Service District) the following described

on a line parallel to the Southwesterly right of way line
of Algonquin Road (as widened) 200.0 feet to the West line

SECTION TWO: That this ordinance shall be null and void and of no
force and effect whatsoever? until after its passage, a.pproval? publi-
cation, and such time as an accurate plat resubdividing the parcels
described in Section One above as recorded with the Recorder of Deeds
of Cook County, Illinois; a copy of which plat of resubdivision shall
be attached hereto and made a part hereof.
