NOUNT PRCSPEGr, COOK COUNTY
STATE OF ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOJlRD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
rlOUNT PRCSPEGr, COOK COUNTY, IlLINOIS:
SEGrICN ONE: That there shall be a regular election of officers in the
Village on the 20th day of April, 1971.
SEGrIG-J' 'I\<JO: At such election there shall be elected the following officers:
Three (3) Village Trustees - four year term
Two (2) Library Directors - six year term
SEGrIGJ' THREE: rrhat not more than thirty (30) days nor less than fifteen (15)
days in advance of the election, the VillagF! Clerk shall cause to be published in
the Mount Prospect Herald, a newspaper published in the Village of P10unt Prospect,
a Notice of Election, which shall be substantially as follows:

Notice is hereby given that on April 20, 1971, at the precincts listed
hereinbelOi'J and located in the Village of Nount Prospect in the County
of Cook, a regular municipal election 1-vill be held for the following
officers :
Three (3) Village Trustees - four year term
Two (2) Library Directors - six year term;
voting for such election will begin at 6 :00 A. ri. and continue until 6 :00
P. M. of that day. The precincts and polling places for such election
shall be:

SEcrICR FOUR: '];hat the precincts or voting districts for such election and
the polling places shall be those designated in the preceding Section.
SEGrIQ'l FIVE: 'Ihat the judges of election shall be those as shall be here-
after designated by the President and Board of Trustees to serve as election
officials.
SEcrIQ'J SIX: 'Ihat the ballot to be used at such election shall be in the
form prescribed by statute and it shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to see
to the preparation of the official ballots for the election, and to cause a sample
')f such ballot to be published prior to the day of election in a newspaper of gen-
eral circulation published in the Village, and to provide the necesf3ary e'le.ction
supplies for each voting district or precinct.
SEGrIQ\f SEVEN': That said election and all matters pertaining thereto shall
be conducted in the manner prescribed by statute for the conduct of a regular
election for Village officers.
SECTION EIGHT: 'Ihat this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
a"1d after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
